Seams are they smooth? No, due to relatively tight seams can cause minor amounts of lippage that can be noticeable. The term called “Lippage” that is used in the stone industry is where there is a planar offset of the finished surfaces of two adjacent stone units. Lippage may be unavoidable due to warp in the slab stock. There should be not noticiable lippage at the front or rear edge of the countertop. Maximum lippage at the center is 1/32″ (0.8mm) of the countertop.
